Directions
There are many ways to travel to Braehead Arena which we have detailed below...

By Bus
intu Braehead Shopping Centre has it's own dedicated bus station and travel information centre. Over 820 buses pass through here every day providing direct services to a variety of destinations across Glasgow, Inverclyde and Ayrshire.
Two bus services run providing fast and convenient links to Glasgow, Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine and Glasgow Airport.

  • McGill’s service 26 between Glasgow (Renfield St.) – Govan – SGH – intu Braehead – Soar – Renfrew – Paisley – Nethercraig
  • First Group’s service 77 between Buchanan Bus Station – Partick – SGH – intu Braehead – Renfrew – Glasgow Airport

By Coach
If you are coming by coach, then we also have our own dedicated coach park next to the bus station. Please contact the arena if you are arriving with a coach party as some events have specific coach drop off points.

By Car
Braehead Arena can easily be reached by road from the whole of central Scotland and beyond.
The venue has over 6500 dedicated FREE parking spaces. We are based at junction 26 (eastbound) and junction 25a (westbound) of Glasgow's M8 motorway.

By Train
Braehead Arena is easily accessible by train from Glasgow City Centre, as well as from destinations in Inverclyde and Ayrshire. Trains run very frequently from Glasgow Central to Paisley Gilmour Street and regularly from other destinations including Ardrossan, Ayr, Gourock and Wemyss Bay. It is then a short bus ride or a quick hop in a taxi to get to intu Braehead and Braehead Arena.

By Air
Braehead Arena is conveniently situated just four miles from Glasgow International Airport. For more information on flights to Glasgow visit the Glasgow Airport website at www.glasgowairport.com.
The First Bus 747 & 77 service offers a direct link from Glasgow Airport to intu Braehead and Soar. It runs every 30 minutes for most of the day and the journey time to intu Braehead is around 15 minutes. 

By Bicycle

Cycle parking is available at each of intu Braehead's main entrances.

On Foot
intu Braehead is only a mile away from Renfrew town centre and can easily be reached on foot, either by using the newly upgraded Kings Inch Road, or the riverside walkway. This extends from our boardwalk to the Renfrew Ferry.
